Nexa Assistant for Zoom
Nexa Assistant is Nexa's meeting note-taker for Zoom. It joins only the meetings you send it to, records the audio, and Nexa turns the meeting into a transcript with who said what, decisions, commitments and follow-ups.
Add the app
- Sign in to Nexa at app.nexahubs.co.
- Open Capture (or Resources → Zoom) and choose Connect Zoom.
- Zoom shows what Nexa Assistant asks for. Choose Allow.
- You land back in Nexa, which shows your Zoom as connected.
Use it
- Join your Zoom meeting as usual.
- In Nexa, open Capture and choose Send Nexa next to the meeting, or paste the meeting link.
- Nexa Assistant asks to join and appears in the meeting under that name. Zoom may ask the host to allow it to record.
- It leaves when the meeting ends, or when you choose Leave the meeting in Nexa. The recording appears in your Nexa Library, where the meeting is read.
Remove the app
- In Nexa: Resources → Zoom → Disconnect. Nexa withdraws its access at Zoom immediately.
- Or in Zoom: App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps → Nexa Assistant → Remove. Nexa is notified and deletes its access tokens for your account.
- Recordings already in Nexa stay in your workspace until someone deletes them there.
What Nexa can access
- Your Zoom user id, account id, name and email, kept with the connection to show which Zoom account is connected.
- Your upcoming Zoom meetings (topic, start time, length and join link), read when you open Capture so you can pick one to send Nexa to. Nexa does not store this list.
- A one-meeting token, created only when you send Nexa to that meeting, so Nexa Assistant can join on your behalf. If Zoom does not issue it, Nexa uses your Zoom access key (ZAK) for that one join instead. Neither is stored.
- Nothing else: Nexa does not read your Zoom chats, contacts or cloud recordings, and it never joins a meeting you did not send it to.
Recordings and transcripts live in your Nexa workspace under its own access rules. See the privacy policy for details. /privacy-policy
